Pakistan launched an intermediate-range missile this past Wednesday, just a few days after its neighbor, India, had launched a test missile. Both India and Pakistan has passed their last missiles ranges, greatly. Both missiles are also have the ability of carrying a nuclear bomb. Pakistan and India's tests have already been right after each other so they may show their military capabilities. Despite this feud, Pakistan and India still do trading with each other but still consider each other as enemies. India's latest test was not pointed towards its enemy, Pakistan, but more towards China.
I think that Pakistan and India should just work out some agreement and become allies. If they go to war then the allies of Pakistan and India will get involved. When those allies get involved, the U.S. will get involved because our allies are involved and the U.S. will use all its power to support our allies. Then that will become World War III.

Satellite captures giant eruption from sun today
The Solar Dynamics Observatory has captured videos and pictures of an enormous eruption of solar flares today. The solar flare occurred at 1:45 p.m. ET and registered as a M1.7 on the intensity scale, which is near the middle of the scale and not very dangerous to Earth. These powerful flares can still disrupt communications and pose a dangerous threat to the astronauts in the International Space Station. The sun is in an active stage of an 11 year cycle, which is expected to peak next year.
I think that this is very interesting and we must learn more about the solar flares to understand them more and try to invent something to either block or reduce the effects of them. I have heard about these before but they were not very active or in the news that much. Now scientists are concerned that they could endanger mankind and trying to learn more about them in my opinion.

SOPA and PIPA – What to believe?
1. I think that all the articles had given some facts but were mostly trying to influence our opinions except the first article from PC World.
2. I think all the articles try to influence peoples opinion in one way or the other, but the one trying to influence the people the most would be Wikipedia because they are against the bills and want the people to be against them also. ex. SOPA and PIPA would put the burden on website owners to police user-contributed material and call for the unnecessary blocking of entire sites.
3. The first article at PC World was mainly giving facts on what SOPA and PIPA are and were just stating the truth. ex. Both bills are aimed at foreign websites that infringe copyrighted material.
4. None of the articles changed my mind from what I already think about the bills, but the CBS News was the article that got aware of the bills and helped me either go for or against the bills. It helped me form my opinion by letting know what would happen if the bills were passed or rejected in congress, which I then just decided which one I think would help America more.

SOPA and PIPA
Two anti-piracy bills trying to get passed right now are the
Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), and the Protect IP Act (PIPA) which are to
strengthen protections against copyright infringement and intellectual property
theft. Many internet companies like Wikipedia, Reddit, Boing Boing, Mozilla,
WordPress, TwitPic, MoveOn.org and the ICanHasCheezBurger network are
participating in an internet blackout to protest the bills. Facebook and
Twitter are also against the bills but are not participating in the internet
blackout.
The music and film industries are for these bills to pass. There
are laws that already protect against copyright like Digital Millennium
Copyright Act (DMCA), but SOPA and PIPA will target the platform -- that is,
the site hosting the unauthorized content. These bills would give the Justice
Department power to cut off ties with US internet service providers and the
foreign internet companies. This could stop foreign countries from selling
stolen or counterfeit goods to the US. Content groups argue that innovation and
jobs in content-creating industries are threatened by growing Internet piracy.
I think that if these bills are passed, that they could help the US stop a lot of people from using the internet for illegal activity. I would definitely support this bill to get it passed, it would have its pros and cons but if its pros out ways the cons, which I think they do, then it would benefit most of the US.
